Original Champion

Stumbled upon this little piece today. An original Champion jacket. We are not too sure exactly what jacket it is but we've worked out that it was bought some time between 1988 - 1990. A proper vintage item worth showing.

John Likens

Check this guy out, John Likens. Fresh out of Lowa State University with a BFA in Graphic Design. But really his passion lies in this stuff, motion graphics and interactive media. He has done work for hundreds of companies; HP, Red Bull, the Addy Awards 2009 and even designing sales aspects for the Nike Cookie Cutterz shoe. This is a reel of his some of his best work.

Last Few Weeks

If you're a reader of this blog then obviously you would of noticed a lack in posts. But chill, we got it covered now. For a whole month we were down to one man due to internet problems, final exams and one of us being in America for two weeks. But that's all sorted now, we got it on lock.

These are some of the shots from the America trip mentioned. The first day was all sun. It hit 38 degrees that day.

Trick Jam Seoul | 2010

Late this spring lowangleworks covered this fixed gear jam session in Seoul, South Korea. Sponsored by Adidas OT - tech fashion, this was a pretty serious jam with some more than serious riders. To ride and throw the bike around this well on a fixie takes a lot of skill. Trust us, we've tried it. 

World Cup South Africa 2010

The whole country will once again be at a stand still this afternoon as England take on Slovenia in their final group match. It literally is everything or nothing today, a win or lose situation. After two shocking games they have a lot to prove to their fans, and pretty much themselves as well. But as we said before, we know they can do it.

Miller High Life

Part of the Greasy team made another addition to their Nike SB collection with the Dunk Low "Miller High Life", originally rumoured to be nicknamed "Marvin The Martian", the June quickstrike dropped in a 12 pack last week at Kong. A nice choice of materials and attention to detail all make for a good looking shoe.

World Cup South Africa 2010

Tonight at 6:30pm hundreds and thousands of us will be tuning in to ITV1 to watch England's second match of the South Africa World Cup. After a sketchy start last week against the USA all eyes will be on the team to see if they can do better against Algeria tonight. Us here at Greasy know they can do it.

Jeff Koons BMW Art Project

Sort of keeping on the theme of cars. Once again BMW doing it nicely with the help of American artist Jeff Koons. He was commissioned for design duties involving this epic 17th instalment on the BMW Art Project. The M3 GT2 shown below. As I said, doing it nicely.

24 Hour

More and more films are popping having been shot on the Canon 5D Mark II, this 13 minute video titled "24 Hours in 19500 Frames" was shot at the 24 hour race at the Nürburgring last month. Tim and Nick Hahne of Stereoscreen.de are to thank for this truly stunning capture, where BMW claimed victory.
