Trimm Trab

A stand out shoe in recent weeks with its bold colourway, influenced by table top football, a reissue of the 1970's Adidas Trimm Trab. First opportunity to see these in the flesh and they didn't disappoint.

"Does It Make You Want A Biscuit?"

Recieved a phone call earlier this afternoon seeing if I wanted to take the trip over to Birmingham, having not been for a while I thought why not. Today gave an opportunity to catch up on the latest collections in shops in hand, and a long deserved day out for the Canon.

With all those ridiculous rumors that have now been quashed of England fans not being allowed to wear their nations shirt during the World Cup in pubs, it was good to see "The Rocket" was flying the St. George with pride.

On return to Coventry the clouds were stretching from one horizon to the other, providing a great view to remember all of the days events.

"Write The Future"

With only 22 days now to till the start of the world cup, Nike have put together a short film "Write The Future" which show cases some of the great footballers to be at the world cup and guest cameos from other stars. The film captures possible outcomes of games and what would follow in the aftermath, all making for another great watch from Nike.

Skunk Dunk

Abit late on this one, but after such high demand we found ourselves a pair to view in hand! The spring quickstrike dropped in a 12 pack at Kong last week, and the hype didn't disappoint with all but 1 pair selling on the day of arrival. I'm sure you've all heard the story behind them so no need to say anymore.

Jam Session 2.0

Eight different people from eight different strands of the world all connected live over the net to deliver us this jam. Their music inspired by Galt MacDermot's "Coffee Cold". Good music.

Attack of the Show

Here's a cool video shown on Attack of the Show, concerning what they're calling Super Heroic Sneakers. Shoes that are paying tribute to our hero's. From World War 2 vets to Comic book hero's, they're showin super shoes like the Nike SBTG colab known as the memphis belle, or the Iron Man 2 shoe. The Hundreds get a little look in this video, displaying most of their new range of footwear. Enjoy.

Sunday Service Part 3

Gamma Funkula returned last sunday with the "Sunday Service Part 3". With acts such as TC, Cyantific, The Jakes Project and many more in attendance. The Kasbah was in for a quality night!

Resident DJ Noziee B & MC Toddler.

After seeing Jakes perform with P-Money back in February in Birmingham at The Goonies, he was definately one to catch again.

After being told to move off stage by Hype for trying to take photos, I decided to make my way back to the side room for more Jakes. Returning only for the last few minutes of Hype & Daddy Earl for the arrival of TC, the crowd was getting involved with the usual "HYPE! HYPE! HYPE!" shouts.

Next to take the deck after Hype was TC, after smashing it at last years Gamma I decided to put the camera away for a short while. Not dissapointing TC came through with Jakes MC'ing to deliver a variety of tunes in a nice set.

Event organiser Aidy put on a great show with plenty of volume, bass, lights and dancers!

Cyantific & MC Wrec had been performing in a seperate city earlier on in the night, then making the trip down to Coventry for their next two hour set. Don't know about the set in Nottingham, but this one definately went off.

Overall a good night from the Gamma Crew, roll on The Sunday Service Part 4 with Andy C!

Skate 3

EA Black Box's Skate completely transformed the world of virtual skateboarding, blowing all rivals off the chart. After two succesful games they are slammin' out a 3rd, set to be the best yet. We have been aware of the game for a while, but it was only this weekend that we downloaded and played the demo. It's intense. The story on Skate 3 will differ greatly from the first two, you are already a big gun in the skating world, and you are now looking to build your own skate team, and sell your style. Sounds cool to me.
Definately one to add to your pile, catch it on the 14th May in the U.K.
