No neon

Pretty much I aint had the chance to blog cuz' people have been scorchin' out in my yard. The past three days has been non stop chaos. Got the chance just now to hit the infamous beast though and seen these. We aren't no fan of the whole neon scene. Especially when you see the neon on the neck and cuff of the rutheless day to day wear that gets rolled round Cov town. However Nike have fully gone on leng and gained appreciation in many ways. Philip Bloom

I remember ages ago James linked me this video called "Sky" by Philip Bloom. At the time it was probably some of the best footage on Vimeo that I'd seen. In two words, sick photography. Here, check it out.

But anyway, today after scrolling through Vimeo yet again I seen his name come up. So after looking though all his stuff I've decided that this geeza' is fully the man. My favourite from all his work, "Venice's People" shot on Venice beach in LA using the Canon 7D. This film shows the people that live their and gives a major insight into their culture. This footage is more focused than the GOD channel.

Portugal

Rich and Matt did Turkey a few weeks back, so now after months of waiting it's my turn. Later today I'm hittin' Portugal with nine friends. I'll have my camera so hopefully I'll come back a bring a few posts for your viewing.

So anyway last night an early night was needed in preperation, but I can never spend a whole day and night in my yard. So I got my camera and bowled out to meet Harmit and Rhys.

Good Morning

Was meant to be picked up for work at 6:00am this morning. My lift was late so I came on here to listen to this. Good Morning.

Change

After completing a folder on clouds as a part of my AS Photography for the year just past, I've begun to take notice of the sky a lot more than it just being an open space. Some of the dramatic skylines are just to sick. Tuesday night was no different with an intense change in the sky colour at sunset.

United States

Firstly, Lick A Beat // DJ Zinc went down a storm on Thursday. However we've had problems getting the watermark of the organisers. Hopefully over the next few days we'll be able to show you what went down.

Meanwhile, whilst in America me and my family travelled from Orlando to Daytona Beach. We had been to Cape Canaveral earlier on in the day but I'll get them shots up another time. We arrived into Daytona at night, pretty much hit 'Applebys', got some buffalo wings, then hit bed.

Daytona Beach, 23 miles of white sand. Hard enough for cars to drive on making it heaven for off road motorsports. Surfing, body boarding, women, high rise hotels. Out of all the places I went in America this year this was by far the one.

Lick A Beat

Tonight Coventry welcomes the infamous DJ Zinc, performing a 2 hour Crack House set at the second Lick A Beat event. The Kasbah is to take host, and is set to open its doors at 10:00pm, and will hold us right through untill 4:30am. So if you're in Coventry reading this we expect to see you there.
